If you're looking to create a romantic yet fun feel to your wedding day then you need to read and see Stephanie and Peter's wedding which took place last October.

We adored Stephanies elegant look with a full-length lace Maggie Sottero gown and her vintage lace Rainbow Club shoes.

How did Peter pop the big question?

Peter arranged a mystery weekend away in the Peak District for my birthday. Before our trip, Peter left clues in coloured envelopes around our house for me to guess our destination. He told me to look out for a special yellow envelope. When we got to the Peak District, we went on a lovely walk around a reservoir and sat on a bench in a peaceful spot overlooking the water. Peter reached into his bag and pulled out the yellow envelope, which had 'Will you Marry Me?' written inside. I burst into tears before saying yes!

When and where did you get married?

We got married at Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel on 7th October 2017. We fell in love with the beautiful barn as soon as we saw it, and loved the quirkiness of the converted pig stys where the wedding breakfast is served. Our guests commented on how unique the venue was, and how friendly and well organised the staff were.

Did you have a specific theme or colour scheme?

We didn't really have a set theme for our wedding day, but elements of our day were travel themed.  We named our tables after the places we've visited together and used old suitcases for decoration. We wanted our wedding day to feel personal and unique to us, so other decorations included photographs of our parents and grandparents of their wedding days, as well as a timeline of our childhood photographs.

How did you feel when you said yes to the dress?

I felt great! The dress I chose was the first one I tried on in the first bridal boutique I went to, and it just felt right when I put it on. I went back to the boutique a week later to try the dress on again (after thinking about it a lot!) and knew it was the one for me.

How did you choose your shoes?

I researched wedding shoes online and looked in bridal magazines. The range of shoes from Rainbow Club caught my eye. I don't usually wear high heeled shoes, so the range of styles with low heels was brilliant. I wore Rainbow Club shoes as bridesmaid to my sister when I was a teenager and remembered how comfortable they were, and they didn't disappoint when it was my turn to be a bride!

Stephanie chose our 'Demi' vintage lace court shoes!

Where did you buy your Rainbow Club shoes from?

I chose beautiful ivory lace covered shoes that complimented the lace on my wedding dress. They were so comfortable as soon as I tried them on. I bought my shoes from a bridal boutique in my hometown.

What was the most favourite and memorable part of the day?

There are so many to choose from! The moment we were announced as Mr and Mrs was amazing. We felt so loved all day!

Do you have any advice for brides to be?

Make a scrapbook, either online or by using cuttings from magazines. If you plan on making aspects of your wedding yourself, get started as soon as possible - weddings come around quickly! Last, of all, don't forget to relax and enjoy the run-up to the big day.

Thank you, Stephanie and Peter, for sharing your big day with us! xx
